Lauren Windsor
Physiotherapist
Originally from Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador, Lauren brings a strong academic, athletic, and clinical background to her physiotherapy practice. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at Memorial University, where she competed as a varsity soccer player with the Seahawks, before earning her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University.
Lauren began her career at the Nova Scotia Rehabilitation Centre and has since accumulated extensive experience in private practice, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal, neurological, and concussion-related conditions. Her diverse clinical background has provided her with the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages and activity levels, from those managing everyday aches and pains to competitive athletes striving to perform at their best.
Throughout her career, Lauren has maintained a strong connection to sport. She has worked closely with athletes at Mount Saint Vincent University and provided sideline and event coverage within the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA), gaining valuable experience in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and return-to-sport planning.
Lauren has pursued advanced training in manual therapy, neurorehabilitation, concussion management, and functional dry needling. She combines these skills with an evidence-based, patient-centered approach to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s goals. Lauren is passionate about helping people move better, recover from injury, and maintain an active, healthy lifestyle for the long term.
