Physiotherapist
Julia Windsor graduated from Memorial University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Behavioral Neuroscience. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University in 2018.
Julia began her physiotherapy career in Halifax, Nova Scotia, gaining valuable experience in both hospital and private clinic settings. In 2021, she returned to St. John’s Newfoundland, where she continued her work with hospitalized patients, providing therapeutic interventions for a broad range of conditions and functional impairments.
Throughout her career, Julia has developed a strong interest in geriatric care and falls prevention. She recently completed the Geriatric Rehabilitation and Healthy Aging course offered by the University of Alberta, further enhancing her expertise in this area.
With a foundation in hospital-based physiotherapy, Julia understands the critical importance of post-hospitalization and post-operative rehabilitation—particularly within the home setting. She applies a multi-system, evidence-based approach to care, using her clinical knowledge and hands-on experience to design individualized treatment plans and achieve the best possible outcomes for her patients.
